WHO IS DANIEL?
Daniel Gebru was born and raised in Machew Tigray, a region in northern Ethiopia known for its rich history and cultural heritage. From a young age, he showed a keen interest in helping others and positively impacting his community.
In his teenage years, Daniel moved to Calgary, Canada, where he continued to pursue his passion for helping others. He quickly became known for his kind and compassionate nature, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. In his free time, Daniel loved playing soccer with his teammates. He was known for his sportsmanship and willingness to help others improve their skills. His team won several medals, but for Daniel, the real reward was the camaraderie and sense of community that came with being part of a team
Daniel’s desire to make a difference led him to volunteer with the Red Cross, an organization dedicated to providing relief and support to people affected by disasters and emergencies. He spent countless hours with the red cross helping in every way he could.
