CORE PRINCIPLES
Core Principles guiding the Program
The Proposal adheres to the following Universal Humanitarian Principles while executing the objectives of the Proposal (HIF, 2022 ) :
- At the core are Humanity and Voluntary Services – the protection of life and health and ensuring respect for human beings.
- The Proposal takes a neutral role in all its dealings with all parties, not siding one party in the implementation of the Proposal. This approach is for the benefit of the beneficiaries and reputation of the Proposal.
- Impartial, no discrimination in its humanitarian activities, as needs of the most vulnerable determine the intervention in reducing the suffering of people.
Safety and accessibility
Security measures and code of conduct will guide travels/ field activities to designated Proposal Areas in the Northern Ethiopia in close collaboration with partners.
